A Sanctuary of Beasts by Kalyn Josephson

In this lush follow-up to New York Times bestselling author Kalyn Josephson’s THE LIBRARY OF AMORLIN, the quest to break Allaster’s curse takes Kasira on a journey across the continent…and right back home to the heart of the Library itself.

“Pure magic—equal parts heart-pounding adventure, clever twists, and slow-burn romance.” —Adrienne Young

Former con artist Kasira has found her true home at the Library of Amorlin and fallen in love with Allaster, the prickly Librarian who guards it. But Allaster is losing his battle against the curse that will turn him into a dangerous beast. Every day a little more of his humanity slips away; soon, Kasira will have no choice but to take his life.

Too stubborn to give up hope, Kasira swears to find another solution, though she has few allies and fewer leads. Kasira is sure there’s a connection between the Library’s fading magic and the curse borne by every Librarian—a secret buried in the Library’s past. But sifting through manuscripts and artifacts can’t take precedence as their enemies prepare to strike again.

With time running out, Kasira must discover the truth of the Library’s origins, root out the treachery in their midst, and find a way to set the Library—and Allaster—to rights. The answers may prove painful, but Kasira finally knows what she’s fighting for . . . and she doesn’t like to lose.
