The Tigers of Baluchistan by Sylvia A. Matheson

Description

A fascinating, vivid eyewitness account of how the Bugtis, one of the most primitive tribes of south-west Asia, are meeting the problems of sudden confrontation with twentieth century industrialization. A new introduction by Paul Titus explains the time-warp around the Bugti country, or for that matter the whole of Baluchistan, which in recent years has become a bloody battleground as the chieftains vie for political supremacy.
